We had an exciting field trip last Friday. 3rd Graders took a walking field trip around our very own community, Amo, IN! Students have been learning about communities in Social Studies. Our West Best secretary, Mrs. Estes, was so generous, and took our class on a walking tour through the town. Here are some interesting facts about our town:*Amo means "love" in Latin
*Our town of Amo is the only town/city with this name in the entire U.S.
*Our post office used to be a bank
*The library used to be a train station that ran from Greencastle into Indianapolis
